Symposium

We are delighted to announce that we are organizing an international hybrid symposium on gyrate atrophy of the choroid and retina, in honor of professor David Valle and professor Mandeep Singh visiting our institute.

The symposium takes place on March 29th in the Amsterdam UMC, but can also be attended digitally. During this symposium, we welcome several renowned researchers in the field of gyrate atrophy.

The first part of the day will be aimed at researchers, clinicians, and other specialists in the field of inherited metabolic diseases or retinal dystrophies. We welcome several keynote speakers with experience in researching gyrate atrophy.
From 13:00 on, the symposium will be aimed at patients and their families. We will give a research update, and host a Q&A with professor David Valle, professor Mandeep Singh, and our own expertise center team.

If you are interested in joining our symposium, please register at garesearch@amsterdamumc.nl. Please also indicate whether you would like to join digitally or live at the Amsterdam UMC.

Below you can find more information about our keynote speakers, as well as a schedule for the day.
